Through our Mission Enabling Services, Advanced Space provides mission and flight optimization, mission design, and mission systems engineering.

Advanced Space supports several programs with Mission Enabling Services (MES) that leverage key skill sets to meet challenging mission objectives. These competencies include developing the mission planning and orbital design for ESCAPADE, the first formation-flying Mars mission; NASA’s Artemis program with persistent loitering and orbital maneuver designs in challenging cislunar orbits; and a commercial mission to the Asteroid Belt that features multi-asteroid flybys and a rendezvous and landing mission.

In addition to the missions mentioned above, we have cultivated a distinct set of technologies and mission design approaches and have concentrated on supporting space missions through advanced flight dynamics; artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other tools to improve spacecraft autonomy; and rapid, turn-key mission development as a “thin prime” contractor. The skills and technologies we have developed have become interlocking and mutually supporting.
