As we prepare for further growth in the future, Advanced Space has added more new members to our team. These professionals will help us develop and improve the administrative capabilities needed to meet the increasing demands of our programs and projects.
Michelle Gunderson became part of the Advanced Space team in March as Government Accounting Lead and Controller. She will support the finance team on cash flow, bill paying, financial reporting, and other matters. She will also work with the contract leads on their budgets, price proposals, customer invoices, and compliance with government regulations. Prior to joining Advanced Space, Michelle served as the Director of Finance for VTO Labs in Denver. She has also worked as an accountant, tax analyst, and purser for numerous private yachts!
Matthew Feltner, who also joined us in March as Legal and Contracts Lead, is responsible for reviewing contract terms and conditions, responding to customers, handling contract- and subcontract-related documents, and ensuring contract compliance. His background includes risk management, business development, corporate risk, and insurance, along with degrees in marketing and finance. Matthew has been a grant evaluator for the Colorado Office of Economic Development, Treasurer for the Colorado Aviation Business Association, and as a volunteer for Junior Achievement.
Jason Pehoviack joined Advanced Space in April as Recruiting and Team Member Success Lead. As a recruiter, Jason has helped us identify and bring onboard a team of highly specialized engineering and related contributors necessary to perform our work. This effort has included screening candidates for technical and culture fit, supporting and training technical interviewers, and managing the hiring process. The Team Member Success part of Jason’s work includes supporting coaches and team members to create a productive and positive environment; improving organizational development and effectiveness; and developing compensation planning, review, and strategy. Jason has diverse previous experience as a recruiter, both as a full team member and contractor at organizations such as Modis, Robert Half, and Google.
