WESTMINSTER, CO—7 March 2024, Advanced Space, LLC, a leading space tech solutions company today announced the hiring of longtime industry member, Yasmine Almond to join the team as the Director of Communications and Public Relations. Almond has made an impact in various ways over the years serving in the community and industry. With over 16 years of industry experience, Ms. Almond will elevate the company’s exposure as she leads the storytelling efforts of Advanced Space. Almond will be responsible for strategic leadership of communications, media relations, public affairs, brand management, event management, community engagement and stakeholder engagement. She will work closely with the leadership team, aligning the messaging of the business development, sales and marketing teams.

Prior to joining Advanced Space, Ms. Almond worked at some of the leading companies in the field. During her time at Voyager Space, Almond managed D.C.-based operations and executed high-level corporate events, domestically and internationally. She was a member of the team working on the development of a privately-operated space station. At Blue Origin, as part of the commercial sales team, she served with a select group that secured the company’s first customers for New Glenn’s payload launch services and New Shepard’s astronaut ticket sales. She also helped establish a novel world-class customer experience program for astronauts and VIP guests at the spaceport in West Texas. At Arianespace, she organized the company’s corporate presence in Washington, D.C. and at satellite industry trade shows in the United States. She also managed executive-level engagements during commercial launch campaigns for private and government customers.
Driven to foster the next generation of space pioneers, she serves as the Executive Director of the Future Space Leaders Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to the career development of young space and satellite industry professionals.

Ms. Almond holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in business and language from the University of Savoie (France) and a marketing certificate from Georgetown University.
