A lifelong space advocate, Robert (Bob) Cone serves as Strategic Advisor for Advanced Space. Over a career spent entirely in the Aerospace & Defense industry, he has held roles in segments for space, missile defense, aviation and others, working for organizations such as NASA, Lockheed Martin, ARES Corporation, DRS Technologies, and Advanced Space. He has successfully led many business functions, including business development, proposal development, business operations, risk management, and project management.

Bob also serves as a volunteer on the Colorado Space Business Roundtable (CSBR), Board of Directors for the past 8 years, including two years as Board Chair. CSBR is a Colorado nonprofit focused on networking, skills development, and industry promotion. He has led numerous initiatives to expand and connect Colorado aerospace industry, including as Strategic Partnerships Chair for the past two years. Bob has a broad span of business experience and has received numerous awards and citations for his accomplishments over 3 decades of aerospace work. He has an MBA in Management of Science, Technology & Innovation and a BS in International Business.
